N_ka [N.] - the Russian musician and composer working in many directions of electronic and instrumental music. Now he is engaged in solo projects: "N_ka" [trance], "Psychoactive Substance" [ambient, psychedelic], and also works as the sound producer. His true name - Igor. Was born on 25th February, 1984. At present he lives in Belgorod, Russia.
N_ka began to create music from 13 years, after the his first acquaintance with a guitar. Now this instrument became for him as the most liked and most often used in creativity. He has begun musical activity as the guitarist in several rock-projects. Later interest to rock was replaced with more increased interest to electronic music. N_ka was working as DJ, and in parallel also has participated in several commercial and experimental projects of various stylistics. Since 2000 he has plunged into a trance-culture. Since this moment he writes down tracks mainly in electronic stylistics. Now N_ka writes a material to his first trance-album. He likes to spend his free time in the company of synthesizers and grooveboxes, being engaged in search of the "own" sound and in sound-design.
Hobby: reading of books, listening of various music, races, travels, psychodelic culture, psy-trips, lucid dreams, self-knowledge. In music he is not limited by stylistic frames, respects and appreciates qualitative and uncompromising music of various directions_
